Let me introduce myself.

Kelsie Wheeler, MA, ABS, LMHC

Hi, I’m Kelsie.

If you can’t already tell, I get a little passionate about mental health and self growth. I have an unquenchable thirst for learning and absorbing as much as I can. I bring this energy into my sessions and work with you to establish a path that meets your personal goals.

In 2005 I received an MA in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University with a focus on Family Systems Theory. Over time I’ve added to my therapy tool kit adding in notes of Solution Focused therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I look forward to completing a certificate as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in 2024. I’m so fortunate to say that I absolutely love this work. Bearing witness to your journey and growth is my biggest reward. I approach our work together with curiosity, a touch of playfulness, and a belief that you have everything already within you to achieve your goals. My job is to assist you on your path to meeting those goals.

On a more personal note…

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and snuggling all my fur babies.

Favorite smells: Spring and coffee.

Favorite sound: My sleeping cat’s purr.

Favorite sights: Being able to be in and experience natural landscapes. Desert, Sea, or Mountains. Seeing my children happy. Seeing my dog enjoy a long walk.

Favorite feeling: Swimming in a warm ocean. Sitting in front of a cozy fire.

What are your favorite aspects of each sense?
